update.

what we've been doing.
school has started again... this semester is going to be a bit harder than last, maybe some additional stress in there and lets add in a lot of time studying too! Oh the life of a graduate student. However, stephen and I are very centered on the fact that OT school is a big part of our life but doesn't overtake our life. So what have we been doing since school started?! We have really enjoyed being back with our friends in augusta, we missed them very much! We have mainly been going to school, except for this one day...a SNOW day! it was just great! This semester we have fridays off therefore, when we got news that we wouldnt have school on monday... instant 4 day weekend to then be followed by MLK weekend another 4 day weekend. Next week will be the first week we have to start our school week on a monday...thats gonna be rough. However, in addition to having great snow days and going to school, we have been focusing on spending more time with just each other, which has been great! Ever once in a while we like to sit down and play Phase 10...a great and fun card game! its been so fun to turn the tv off and just spend time together! Going through all this we have really had a great start to the year...but im not done!!
As part of our christmas presents we got quite a bit of moola to restaurants... a.k.a DATE NIGHTS! We have had 3 date nights since we have gotten back to augusta, thats crazy but SO amazing!
God is doing amazing things this year so far! As you know if you've been following, I have started doing photography on the side of school. It has been amazing, only thanks to God, it was something I let go and left up to him to map out, and he has already started drawing. MY FIRST DAY BACK to school, a friend came up to me and asked me to photograph her daughter, THE NEXT DAY another friend asked me to do portraits of her and her horse (these will be posted soon on cwfphotography...links on the right). I was taken aback, but so thankful! I have been enjoying every minute of doing photography, it is such a great thing to be involved in. My amazing photographer from our wedding, Callie Murray, owner of Achor&Eden photography recently moved to augusta. She has been an amazing mentor and help to me while getting settled and acquainted with my equiptment! She has been so sweet and amazing. So please tell any friends to visit cwfphotography.blogspot.com and take a look around. I am doing any sitting including all high-resolution photos, with all rights, for only 45 dollars....its a great deal, with unlimited time as well!
So to sum up what we've been doing...we've been doing great!

check it out.

ok...look to your left, and click on the c w f photography link... BUT before you do... a little explanation.

I have started to move from hobbyist photographer to true photographer! I am so excited. My step-dad told me that I need to always leave some things up to the Lord in my life...well I did, and what did he do...opened doors! The Lord has never left my side my entire life and its no different now. He is teaching me to chase my dreams down each pathway! As most know I am an Occupational Therapy Student, and Love Occupational Therapy, but also part of my heart goes to photography, therefore I am taking a dive into photography, as well as school all at once!

So please take a look at c w f photography and let all your friends know!

a new look for a new year.

new year. new look.
just thought for the new year i'd change the blog up just a bit! hope you like it!

back to school again.

long days...busy nights.
The holidays are over and we are back to school. We absolutely loved and enjoyed our time off. We were able to spend so much time with our families, and see friends! We have however, loved to see our friends here in Augusta again! The school semester started again this past tuesday, however this semester...we have FRIDAYS OFF!! Its gonna be so great, makes for long weekends each week! We will have to study on those days just because this semester is presenting its self as a bit more difficult and involved, but i guess thats how it goes. However, the classes will be very interesting and know that we will be using it in our professions for the rest of our life makes the endless work seem worth it.
On the UP side...ya know how I said I have really gotten into photography?! well, after taking pictures of my family and friends I had a friend in my OT class ask me to do a photo session of her daughter!!! I CANT WAIT! I guess its who you know and what you can do that'll get you started. SO anyone needing or just wanting some pictures taken NO MATTER what the occasion please let me now, as of right now i am really just trying to improve my portfolio, therefore, its great for you and me...because there is no cost! My hope is that during school I can gain much much more experience then, move into charging a smaller fee, so as to help me and stephen by bringing in come extra change!
...SO Again, if anyone needs any photos or just wants to for fun... LET ME KNOW!

a'ville.

Bryson + Brady
This week Stephen and I have been spending time in Albertville with our family! Our sister Suzanne came with our two nephews, Bryson and Brady. We had such a fun time together, opening presents, playing with toys, chasing each other in the halls, and decorating cookies! We also took the time to go and take pictures of the boys!! It was great practice for me with my camera! They are headed back to louisville now, and we miss them so much! Cant wait to see them next time! Now there are alot of pictures but i couldnt help it!
Our nephew Bryson, such a sweet and amazing little boy!
Brady loved his flashlights all week, and was very helpful in helping us open our presents

Bryson + Brady
We took the boys to a local spot in Albertville to do a little photo session! It was so much fun! They were so enthralled with the sticks and rocks to play with it was hard to get their attention, but despite the challenge we ended up with some really great shots!

I guess he was trying to make it clear he was no longer wanting to take pictures!

This has been such a great week and we are ending the year in a great way!

Happy New Years Eve!

merry christmas.

Merry Merry Christmas!
We had such a wonderful morning together on our VERY FIRST Christmas together as husband and wife! It was great. We enjoyed opening presents with my parents and skypeing with my sister who could not be here. We miss all of our family that we are not with today, but will be seeing everyone soon. Its even beginning to look like a white christmas...it may come a little later in the evening but its  at least snowing. The turkey comas are starting to kick in, and the movies are rolling. Oh how I love Christmas Day! Merry Christmas to everyone, and I hope that all keep in mind the true meaning of christmas, that is Jesus Christ who came and gave his life so that we may live freely. Thank You Jesus!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Every Christmas Eve we attend the First Baptist of Henderson's Christmas Eve Service. It is a wonderful service and ends with the lighting of candles by all of the congregation as we sing "Silent Night" Always feels more like Christmas at the end of the service!

After the service we always go to Aunt BeBe's and Uncle Buddy's for Christmas Eve Dinner. However, we usually fill up on appetizers then still eat dinner its just the beginning to the two day feast that christmas involves in the family!

These are the annual attendees of the Christmas Eve Party! By aunts and uncles, grandmothers, and family friends. All of us together makes for a great evening!

Christmas Morning

This Christmas morning was the beginning of a new life!! Stephen and I had our very first Christmas morning together! This year however, we actually had early christmas presents, so we enjoying thinking about those and watching others open their presents! However, we were surprised with a few extra little presents that we are so grateful for! My sister could not leave town because of work so we skyped with her and watched her open her presents and got to talk, which was great!

One of my early Christmas presents was my camera so needless to say ... I AM LOVING practicing with it and you can find me anywhere taking a picture of one thing or another! It is the best present ever!!

We wish all a Merry Christmas!!
